Learn the basics of off loom bead weaving in a relaxed, fun environment. This class will teach several basic patterns and everything you need to know about thread, beads, and getting started. Begin with a simple project and work through creating unique pieces that will impress your friends. During this intensive class, students will explore creating sculptural metal plants and flowers that can be worn as unique jewelry or displayed as free-standing art. Use the hydraulic press to add dimension, depth, and texture to your jewelry pieces! No photography experience is required. Students are encouraged to bring one or two pieces of artwork to photograph during the workshop.

Created for students with some experience in working with metal clay, this class offers instruction in building dimensional structures, adding inclusions, such as stones or found objects, building hinges, and moving parts. Unique design and technique will be the focus. You will also learn how to reconstitute dry clay, make repairs, and firing techniques. Students may choose to bring silver clay to work with and bronze and copper clay will be provided.
Learn the basics of working with metal clay in this beginning/intermediate class. Metal clay is a versatile medium made from powdered metal mixed with a binder when fired in a kiln becomes solid metal. Students will learn how to roll, texture, join and carve the clay into wearable objects. Designing, texturing, shrinkage, firing, and finishing will also be explored. Copper and bronze clay will be the focus and materials, and basic tools will be provided.
