You’ve designed a beautiful piece of fused glass. What’s the next step? Would it make a great plate? A bowl? A vase? In this class, we will explore these options and others as we delve into slumping and draping and their applications. Glass fusing experience is recommended but not required.
BEGINNING FUSED GLASS

Design unique pieces of glass art using colorful transparent and opaque glass. Learn the basic techniques of cutting, shaping, grinding, and fusing. Projects will include sun catchers, night lights, and a small slumped bowl. All materials provided with additional materials available for purchase.

Whether you are new to fused glass or have some experience, this course allows you to learn a new and fun form of art or to further develop your glass fusing skills. From working with glass scraps, to making intricate designs, we will explore basic fusing and slumping, making light catchers, nightlights, bowls, and more. No experience is needed and all levels of skill are welcome.
