SUMMARY:Book Discussion: Now is Not the Time to Panic
DESCRIPTION:by Kevin Wilson \nIt’s 1996. Frankie and Zeke are two teenagers just trying to get through a long\, hot Tennessee summer. Frankie wants to be an author and Zeke an artist. One boring day\, they decide to create some poster art containing an intriguing phrase and hang the copies all over town. When some older teenagers create a false story about the creation of the artwork\, the townspeople get caught up in hysteria and the whole thing starts to snowball. Twenty years later a journalist investigating the 1996 Coalfield Tennessee Panic has linked it back to Frankie. Can Frankie continue to hide from her past or is it time to confront her secrets with the truth?

SUMMARY:ArtBreak: Pilchuck: A Dance with Fire
DESCRIPTION:Founded by Dale Chihuly and a few art school friends in 1971\, the Pilchuck Glass School has long been pushing the limits of a medium that can last for centuries or shatter in an instant. Through the story of this small and highly influential school in the Pacific Northwest\, Pilchuck: A Dance with Fire identifies the remarkable convergence of visionary individuals\, regional cultures\, and fortunate timing to explain how and why Pilchuck and the studio glass movement has blossomed. The story of the people and events that mark the past 43 years of Pilchuck history is told through firsthand accounts of the individuals who shaped the school and helped create its remarkable evolution from a makeshift summer workshop to a vital international center for artists working in glass. Narrated by Jeff Bridges\, the film includes interviews with Pilchuck founder Dale Chihuly and Preston Singletary\, whose glass works are included in Clearly Indigenous.  \nPilchuck: A Dance with Fire was written by Gary Gibson and directed and produced by John Forsen\, and it is shared with many thanks to Fidget Films. The film has a runtime of 59 minutes.
