Art Detectives

2019 art detectives trio
Arty the Mouse

Presented by KIA Museum Education Department, Art Detectives is a free program for children 4-8 with an adult. It meets on the second Saturday of each month from September through May. It's designed for the adult and child to explore and appreciate art together through storytelling, guided looking, and art-making.

Our Art Detectives staff and volunteers explore exhibitions on view in the museum, either from touring exhibitions that change regularly, along with artworks from our permanent collection of more than 5,000 objects.

For more information or to volunteer with Art Detectives, contact Jessica Sundstrom, Assistant Curator for Youth & Family Programs at: or 269/585-9277.
