2013 High School Area Show
May 18 - June 9, 2013
This annual juried exhibition features work by artists 18 years or younger, in grades 9-12, residing in Allegan, Barry, Berrien, Branch, Calhoun, Cass, Kalamazoo, St. Joseph and Van Buren counties. The exhibition hosts 147 pieces of art and offers a variety of mediums, including: glass, 2-D, 3-D, Video, Ceramics, Metal, Jewelry and more! Local artist Norwood Viviano juried the exhibition and selected six $100 cash prize winners. The awards also included two $100 cash prizes from ECCU, one $100 KIA Kirk Newman Art School scholarship and twelve university scholarships.

2013 Award Winners
Two Cleveland Institute of Art Scholarships were awarded to Lydia Mott and Grace Garno.
Five Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University Scholarships were awarded to Sam Gulliver, Miquela Burk Ballew, Jordan Rose, Nate Stevens and Olivia Wynkoop.
Five Western Michigan University Gwen Frostic School of Art Scholarships were awarded to Lydia Mott, Travis Lind, Kailee McDade, Clara Peeters and Irving Quintero Gervacio.
Six $100 cash prizes were awarded by artist Norwood Viviano to Grace Garno, Lydia Mott, Sam Gulliver, Haley Ellis, Emily Hochstedler and Aaron Porter.
Two $100 cash prizes were awarded by ECCU to Abimelic Ramos and Natasha Thannhauser.
