Steve CurlFor the "Art" part of Art Against Hunger, the KIA is excited to have local artist Steve Curl create an interactive art sculpture using donated canned goods. The finished structure will be featured in the KIA school commons area during Art & All That Jazz. Steve Curl is a popular Michigan artist known for his use of discarded metals like aluminum to create robots and other fun free-standing sculptures like Japathar, a popular attraction at the Kalamazoo Art Fair.

The Kalamazoo Institute of Arts is excited to partner with Steve Curl to help make Art Against Hunger our most successful food drive yet!
