2012 High School Area Show

June 2 - June 24, 2012
Reception and Awards Ceremony: Friday, June 8; 5-7 p.m.

Entries must be hand delivered to the KIA between May 15 and 17. Competition details and entry forms are available in MS Word or PDF format.

This annual juried exhibition is open to artists 18 years or younger in grades 9-12 residing in Allegan, Barry, Berrien, Branch, Calhoun, Cass, Kalamazoo, St. Joseph, and Van Buren counties. Each artist may submit up to two entries. There is no entry fee.

Awards include six $100 cash awards and one $100 KIA Kirk Newman Art School 2012 summer class scholarship.

Scholarship Awards
A maximum of three Cleveland Institute of Art Scholarships of up to $40,000 each may be awarded for work of special merit.

A maximum of three Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University Scholarships of up to $12,000 each may be awarded for work of special merit.

A maximum of three Western Michigan University Gwen Frostic School of Art Scholarships of up to $12,000 may be awarded for work of special merit.
