The Kalamazoo Institute of Arts' priority is to protect and support the health and well- being of our staff, volunteers, and visitors as well as our community. Mindful of the concerns surrounding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we are committed to being responsive, heeding guidance on preventive measures.

We will be open through Sunday, March 15.

The Sunday Kiln-Fused Glass workshop with Linda Kekic WILL meet, however Art Detectives on Saturday, March 14, has been cancelled.

Next week, we have made the decision to close our galleries, classes, and programs from March 16 through April 3.

Over the next few days, we will be assessing the situation and reviewing options for when we will be able to re-open to the public. This decision has been carefully considered, as we know museums are community spaces. To continue to provide options for learning and reflection, we would like to direct you to explore our collections online.

If you have any questions or concerns you may contact us on 269-349-7775 or email Thank you for your understanding and support.
