  • Enjoy a fun, creative activity with your students, where everyone will interact and engage with real works of art.
  • Art is for everyone, and we offer tours for visitors with special needs: patrons with vision impairment or memory issues (see below).

  • Student Programs + Exhibitions

     
  • Young Artists of Kalamazoo County Exhibition: Art teachers curate museum-worthy creations from their K-8th grade students.
  • High School Area Show: Annual juried competition for rising artists, who compete for cash awards and college scholarships.
  • High School Portfolio Day: College admissions counselors from art programs throughout the midwest gather at the KIA each October.
  • Art classes for all ages and skills (scholarships available) begin in April, June, September and January each year.
