Expressions: International Glass Invitational August 11 - November 4, 2012 Organized by Habatat Galleries, Royal Oak, Michigan, this exhibition presents the leading work in contemporary glass from around the world. The year 2012 marks the 50th anniversary of the development of contemporary glass in the United States, and the KIA is proud to participate in this nationwide celebration initiated by the Art Alliance for Contemporary Glass, which is also providing support for this exhibition in Kalamazoo. |

Elliott Erwitt: Dog Dogs July 7 - September 23, 2012 This exhibition features more than 60 photos by Elliott Erwitt that convey the unconditional love, dignity, humor, friendship and life-long companionship that dogs share with their human families. |

A Conversation between Monet and Sochi: Video Art by Lee-nam Lee April 14 - August 18, 2012 In the work A Conversation between Monet and Sochi, Lee-nam Lee projects the images of a classic painting from the Western tradition by Claude Monet (1840-1926) and an ink painting from the Eastern tradition by Korean artist Sochi (1803-1893). As the projected images change and interact, the artist brings the paintings to life. |

Birds in Art 2011 May 26 - July 28, 2012 The stars of Birds in Art - avian species interpreted in oil, watercolor, the graphic arts, bronze, stone, and more - fly thousands of miles every autumn to reach the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Museum. Sixty artworks from each Wausau exhibition are then presented at museums across the United States and across the Atlantic and Pacific. |

Object of Devotion: Medieval English Alabaster Sculpture from the Victoria and Albert Museum March 3 - May 13, 2012 This exhibition presents sixty beautifully-carved alabaster panels and free-standing figures that were displayed in the homes, chapels, and churches of both aristocratic and non-aristocratic Christians in the 15th and 16th centuries. The exhibition is organized and circulated by Art Services International, Alexandria, Virginia. |

2012 West Michigan Area Show March 17 - May 6, 2012 A juried exhibition, the West Michigan Area Show draws hundreds of entries from a 14-county region of West Michigan. This year, 520 works were submitted from 240 artists, in media ranging from paintings, prints and photos to mosaics, ceramics, jewelry, sculpture and mixed-media works. From these, 106 works by 93 artists were chosen to be included in the exhibition. |
