Posted: August 15, 2017
KALAMAZOO, MI--Area students of all ages and their families are invited to a free night of fun at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts. The See Your Selfie Back to School Bash will welcome community organizations serving youth and families to fill the KIA lobby and school commons, and offer back-to-school info, activities, games, resources, and more to help all kids be their best for the start of the school year -- selfassured, selfless, self-reliant, believing in yourself, taking care of yourself.
"The KIA consistently seeks to partner with area organizations to empower youth and create a stronger, more vibrant community," says KIA Executive Director Belinda Tate. "Our goal is to promote the social, emotional, and cultural well-being of Kalamazoo area children and teens, and through this event, nurture self-expression through a variety of creative means and a collaborative bonding experience."
