Cultural Exchange Program Offers Free Admission To Members of Five SouthWest Michigan Organizations
Posted: April 24, 2014
For Immediate Release -
A new collaboration, called Southwest Michigan Cultural Exchange, will allow free admission for members of participating local institutions during the month of May. Guests can simply present their valid membership card from any of the five participating organizations and they will get immediate access. The Air Zoo, Binder Park Zoo, Gilmore Car Museum, Kalamazoo Nature Center and Kalamazoo Institute of Arts decided to partner for the Cultural Exchange because they wanted to celebrate our region's cultural richness, while introducing their institutions to each other's members.
"This is an excellent opportunity for our members to learn more about the other cultural institutions in our area," said Jim Bridenstine, Executive Director of the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts. "Likewise, we hope that our fellow organizations' members will see what makes the KIA so special."
The admission for all participating organizations will be free, but there may be additional costs to experience activities or programs.
