Kalamazoo Institute of Arts' Library Launches New Children's Programming

Fun for Kids in the KIA Library

The Kalamazoo Institute of Arts' Library is launching new daytime programs geared to children ages 4 - 8 years old. Starting in November, on the second and fourth Saturday of the month, there will be storytelling and art-oriented videos from 11:15 - 11:45 a.m. Guests can come in while Mom, Dad or older siblings are in a Kirk Newman Art School class, or just come in for the fun of it.

Schedule:

March 8: Ruth Heinig and Peggy Sue will tell children's stories.

March 22: Denise McDonald will tell children's stories.

April 12: Ruth Heinig and Peggy Sue will tell children's stories.

April 26: Norma Strong will tell children's stories.

May 10: Offbeat children's videos from Vimeo, the web video service.

Feb. 22 - Activities led by Denise McDonald.

March 8 - Ruth Heinig with Peggy Sue and Mini-Me.

March 22 - Activities led by Denise McDonald.
