On Sunday, May 19, from 1 - 3 p.m. the KIA will be offering a unique gardening workshop for students of all ages. Mike Ouding, of River Street Flowerland, will be the instructor and he has over 25 years in the greenhouse and design business. He will demonstrate the techniques he uses in creating a beautiful container garden for sun or shade. Mike will help you design the perfect planter for your home and garden. All of the materials to create a 14" container garden will be provided. The class costs: $55 for KIA Members and $75 for Non-Members.

Along with this Container Gardening Workshop, the Kirk Newman Art School is also offering a variety of classes this summer, from June through August. From our one-of-a-kind summer art camps to unique classes in ceramics or painting, the KIA's school is the perfect place to embrace your creativity and learn something new.
