Dr. Paul Wang is not only an internationally recognized painter in traditional Chinese style, but is also an avid collector of East Asian art. Dr. Wang will discuss his work and his collection featured in the exhibition Asian Art from the Collection of Dr. Paul and Esther Wang.

Asian Art from the Collection of Dr. Paul and Esther Wang opened on August 25 and will close on December 9. This exhibition features nearly 50 pieces of Asian Art from the Quing (1644-1912), Tang (618-907), Northern Song (960-1276), Ming (1368-1644), Han (200 B.C. - 208 A.D.) and Western Han (206 B.C. - 9 A.D.) dynasties.

The collection includes a diverse selection of art mediums from ivory, jade, painted silk, gilded bronze, woodblock prints, works on paper, carved stone and bamboo root as well as ceramic and porcelain pieces. The exhibition is dedicated in honor of Dr. Wang's late wife, Esther.
