"I'm bored!" if you are already hearing this from your child, The Kalamazoo Institute of Arts' Kirk Newman Art School has the answer! Summer Art Camps!

Art Camps at the Kirk Newman Art School, are not boring arts & crafts. Your child will have the opportunity to learn two-dimensional and three-dimensional art forms, inspired by our current exhibitions and our permanent collection. Students will create two-dimensional art using drawing, painting, and printmaking and three-dimensional art using clay and other sculptural materials.

Led by professional, practicing artists in a real art studio, utilizing high-quality artist tools, your child will have the opportunity to explore their creative side and have the freedom to do so without the angst of grades or an overly-structured program.

The Kirk Newman Art School has designed these Art Camps to be convenient for families and be budget friendly. There are half- and full-day options, and there are camps available all summer along, including August! Our Art Camps are tailored for children ages 4-16, so there is something for everyone.

For a full list of Summer Art Camps offered and to register online, please click here or call 269-349-7775 ext. 3101.
