Art League - Driehaus trip

The Kalamazoo Art League is hosting a lecture on one of the most beautiful and iconic buildings in Chicago, the Richard Driehaus Museum.

Join Lise Dub -Scherr, Director, The Richard Driehaus Museum as she discusses one of Chicago's grand mansions of the Gilded Age. Her lecture will include works by Louis Comfort Tiffany and discuss the origins of the building, built for the banker Samuel M. Nickerson in 1879. In 2003, the museum was founded by Richard Driehaus with an eye toward preserving and promoting historical architecture and design.

A reception will immediately follow the lecture.
