Appraisal Day Painting

Kalamazoo - Michigan. Monday, July 25, 2011. One of the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts most popular events is back! The 5th Annual KIA Benefit Appraisal Day is Saturday, September 24, 10 am - 4 pm. Funds raised at this event enable the museum education department to continue offering quality programs and events to the public for free or reduced cost. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Ever wonder if that painting in grandma's attic is worth anything? Enjoy a chance to learn more about your treasures and help support the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts! Professional appraisers from DuMouchelle's auction house in Detroit donate their time to support this fundraiser by providing verbal appraisals for artworks, antiques, jewelry, and other treasures. (No coins, stamps, or firearms, please.)

A maximum of 3 items may be brought for verbal appraisal. Please note that you will not be provided documented appraisals.

KIA Member registration opens Monday, August 1, 2011 and Non-member registration starts on Monday, August 22. Early registration is recommended for this popular event! If you are not a KIA Member and would like to join, please click here for more information.

To register or for more info, please call (269) 349-7775.
