About School photo

There is still time to register for Fall art classes. Adult classes begin September 8 at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts Kirk Newman Art School.

The Kirk Newman Art School is offering several new classes this year. Find your inner Buddha and try Art as a Meditative Expression. Channel Martha Stewart and impress your guests with any of these fun holiday workshops including: Fall Wreath Workshop, Holiday Wreath Workshop and Holiday Swag Workshop. Say "oui, oui" to signing up for these great French-inspired classes including French Cinema for Conversation and Wet-Felted Beret Workshop. Have you ever looked at a beautiful flower and wished you could capture that design and create some wonderful wearable art? Learn how in Jewelry Design in Nature. For artists who wield technology instead of a paintbrush, try our latest digital media course, Using the Digital Scanner as a Camera.

For more information on any of these classes, visit www.kiarts.org/school and click on class schedule. Classes fill up quickly so don't delay!
