Are you tired of the typical "arts and crafts" offered at other organizations and want the opportunity to work in a real art studio with the latest tools and equipment? Look no further than the Kirk Newman Art School!

The Kirk Newman Art School offers more than 300 classes in a variety of media and other areas of interest including: photography, computer graphics, design, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, painting and drawing, printmaking, fiber, glass, art appreciation, foreign language, writing, children's classes and more.

The faculty at the Kirk Newman Art School prides themselves on providing a friendly, non-judgmental environment that offers a level of freedom to express your creativity rarely found in other institutions. Regardless of your skill level, our faculty is ready to guide you every step of the way!

Exactly what kind of caliber of faculty does the KIA Kirk Newman Art School draw? How would you like to literally get in on the action and learn Sports Photography from a Sports Illustrator featured photographer? Chuck Comer has been published countless times in this esteemed publication and has photographed some of the most storied athletes of our time! Space is limited in this popular class so don't wait to register!

We all know how popular video games are, considering how the production of them has become more akin to major movie productions as opposed to Pong or Donkey Kong, its no wonder that many graphic designers are leaving advertising for video game design! For artists whose brush is a MAC or PC, why not create your own video game taught by Hollywood, CA video game designer John Troxtel? Basic Video Game Design has been extremely popular since it debuted this past summer, so make sure to reserve your spot today!

If your art is more Poe than Monet, no problem! The Kirk Newman Art School welcomes you to sign up for our Creative Writing class taught by award winning poet Susan Ramsey!

The Kirk Newman Art School is also one of the few remaining art institutions to still offer classes in traditional Fiber Arts like Floor-Loom Weaving, Beginning Spinning, Tapestry Loom Weaving, Knitting and more! Our Fiber Arts studio is fully equipped with four- and eight-harness floor looms, spinning wheels and more!

Are you a fan of HGTV shows like Design Star or Landscaper's Challenge? Why not design your own challenge and sign up today for The Art of Home Landscape or The Art of Interior Design?

For those of you who like to wear your art, our jewelry classes have something to offer every fashionista looking to design a statement piece! These are some of our most popular classes, so being fashionably late to register is a major faux pas!
