Kalamazoo Institute of Arts Fair

KALAMAZOO, MI -- The Kalamazoo Institute of Arts will host its 65th annual Arts Fair June 3-4. The two-day juried show features up to 185 fine artists exhibiting in downtown Kalamazoo's shady, historic Bronson Park. Proceeds from the fair support free-admission programming at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts.

The fair is the first summer art fair in the region, and draws patrons from Kalamazoo and surrounding from Lake Michigan, Detroit, and Northern Indiana looking to shop for fine art by artists from throughout the Midwest and beyond.

Fair hours are Friday, June 3, 3-8 pm, and Saturday, June 4, 9 am-5 pm. Food vendors and music are featured throughout, with a beer garden, food, and music outdoors at the KIA Friday, and children s activities in the park all day Saturday.

Interested artists are welcome to apply. We accept images of work in 13 mediums: 2-D Mixed Media, 3-D Mixed Media, Ceramics, Drawing/Pastels/Prints, Fiber/Leather, Glass, Jewelry-Non-Precious, Jewelry-Precious, Metal, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, and Wood.
