The Kalamazoo Art League wraps up its 2010-2011 Art League lecture series with a finale presentation by Robin Salmon, curator of Brookgreen Gardens. Salmon will lecture on the extraordinary outdoor sculpture garden in South Carolina in her talk, "Art & Nature: Sculpture in Brookgreen Gardens."

KIA members may be familiar with the three plantations of sculpture at Brookgreen Gardens, a muse for the Meijer family as they built their own sculpture garden in Grand Rapids. Salmon will take participants on an outdoor tour of major sculpture. There will be a dessert reception following the talk.

The after-lecture reception for the evening program will be held in the KIA courtyard weather permitting, please dress accordingly for the weather. This event is free. Potential members are welcome!
