The Kalamazoo Institute of Arts wraps up The Wyeths: America's Artists with the final Art in the Evening presentation in this exhibition series.

Featuring: Michael Komanecky, Chief Curator of the Farnsworth Art Museum
Date: Thursday, April 14
Time: 7 pm
Cost: $5 (no registration required)

Michael Komanecky has an intimate knowledge of the art of the Wyeths. As Chief Curator of Maine's Farsnworth Art Museum, Komanecky has worked closely with the Wyeth family organizing many memorable exhibitions.

The Farnsworth has a long connection with the Wyeths. Even before its 1948 opening, seven works by Andrew Wyeth were purchased for the future collection. A generous lender to The Wyeths: America's Artists, the Farnsworth owns more than sixty art works by N.C., Andrew, and Jamie Wyeth and operates four Wyeth-related properties including the Olson House in Cushing, Maine.

The Wyeths: America's Artists closes on Sunday, April 17th. Thursday, the 14th will be your final opportunity to see the exhibition for free (5-8 pm). Don't miss this final chance to learn more about the art of the Wyeth family as the exhibition draws to a close!
