Kalamazoo, Michigan - Wednesday, March 2, 2011. The Kalamazoo Institute of Arts is pleased to welcome Peter Ralston, long-time photographer and friend to the Wyeth family on Thursday, March 10 at 7 pm as part of the Art in the Evening series.

Ralston's photography is currently featured in the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts latest exhibition, The Wyeths: America's Artists.

As a boy, Ralston spent a great deal of time with Andrew and Betsy Wyeth, his neighbors in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania and began a life-long friendship with Jamie Wyeth. At age 20, he became the Wyeth's reproduction photographer. It was the Wyeths who introduced Ralston to Maine, which became his home and the inspiration for his own photography and environmental work. Join Peter as he discusses his life with the Wyeths and their impact on his work and career.

Admission: $5, no registration required.
