This provocative exhibition considers how cutting-edge technologies\, unexpected materials\, and new ideas are transforming footwear today. \nThis program will be facilitated by fashion historian Iris Carney Cooper\, who teaches at Western Michigan University and manages the Historic Garment Collection. \nFuture Now: Virtual Sneakers to Cutting-Edge Kicks is co-organized by the American Federation of Arts and the Bata Shoe Museum\, and curated by Elizabeth Semmelhack\, Director and Senior Curator of the Bata Shoe Museum.
