For some, the Victorian era is synonymous with prudishness. However, both Queen Victoria and Prince Albert were avid collectors of nude paintings and statues. Filtered through Greek and Roman classicism, English artists' aesthetic of the nude reflected Britain's status as a world power. This documentary provides unexpected insights into the Victorian period.
