Beginning in the late 1800s, the Arts and Crafts Movement created a new design aesthetic based on "truth to materials." In a continuation of her previous program, Helen Bray looks at how the Pre-Raphaelite philosophy crossed the ocean and influenced American designers such as the Stickley Brothers and Frank Lloyd Wright.

New Time! ARTbreak now starts at noon.

ARTbreak is a free, weekly series of talks and programs about art, artists and exhibitions. Bring your lunch-- coffee and cookies provided. Sponsored by The Fountains at Bronson Place.
