Unreeled: Film at the KIA

Dates: Thu Nov 9, 17

Time: 6:30pm - 8:00pm

Kalamazoo Institute of Arts Auditorium

We will screen the premiere of Atrophy, a steampunk action adventure movie filmed independently in Michigan by Jason Slingerland.

Matt Prior is an average family man with average family problems, until one morning, when he awakens to find himself in a dangerous new world. With his family nowhere to be found, he only has a limited time to return home before he's trapped forever in a strange and untamed land.

With the help of some wanderers, he must find his way to the Portal while being hunted by three assassins, an army Captain with a mechanical arm and a 7-foot steam-powered killing robot.

Director Jason Slingerland will be here to discuss his film following the showing, and we will also celebrate the Unreeled Film Series 2nd birthday!

$5/adult, $2/students
Free for KIA members and active military
