The 1924 Society
We welcome your interest in The 1924 Society, named to honor the vision of those women and men who founded "the art center" more than 90 years ago.
Members of this society share with those original founders a commitment to the future of the KIA, a commitment which will extend beyond their own lifetime through deferred gifts or bequests. The 1924 Society is open to everyone who includes the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts in her or his estate plans.
Every gift, from the modest to the magnificent, will be used to further the mission of the KIA: to foster the creation and appreciation of the visual arts.
The staff of the Advancement Office can work with you and your advisors to structure a gift that best fulfills your charitable goals. Please call with any questions:
The following is a general description of ways to donate gifts to the KIA that combine your desire to help while garnering significant tax advantages.
