Take your practice to the next level to better understand your work and how to talk about it. Perspectives in practice will enrich your art making by developing the skills of observation, critique, and reflection about artwork. Through structured discussion and exercises, students will engage with artwork from museum examples, books, and their own work. This class will help students better understand and express their artistic voice.
SOUND BATH: THE FLOW OF CREATIVITY

Immerse yourself in an evening of sound that will take you to a place of peace, stillness, and connection. During the sound immersion various instruments will fill the space such as Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls, and gongs. These allow you to move into a state of deep relaxation. Rest, recover, and heal your physical, emotional, and energetic bodies while dislodging creative blocks. Students are encouraged to bring a yoga mat and blanket.

Practice an eclectic style of yoga designed for all levels. You will be guided through slow movement; static poses, breathing techniques, and meditative relaxation. Yoga helps with flexibility, strength, and often can help with metabolic functions. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat.
