The KIA relies on many sources of support in order to present exhibitions, unique programs, and art classes for all ages.

We are so grateful to our many donors for their loyalty and enthusiasm. Our programming wouldn't exist without individuals. Please make a donation to help the institute continue to promote the creation and appreciation of the visual arts.

Annual Fund

The Annual Fund is a yearlong campaign to raise essential support to fund vital operating costs involved in keeping our doors open and the lights on. Without such gifts, we could not host and present our many programs.

Annual Funds are 100% tax-deductible. No goods or services are provided in exchange for your Fund gift. Each gift is acknowledged with a letter.

Memorial/Tribute Gifts

Memorial and tribute gifts are wonderful ways to honor or memorialize a family member or friend.

A memorial gift creates a living remembrance for someone special. A tribute gifts serve as a unique way to honor someone, a birthday, or special occasion.

Memorial and tribute gifts are 100% tax-deductible. No goods or services are provided in exchange for your gift. Each gift is acknowledge with a letter to you and a personalized letter to the honored individual or family.

The 1924 Society

The 1924 Society, named for the year in which the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts was incorporated with the State of Michigan, is open to everyone who includes the KIA in his or her estate plans.

Member benefits for The 1924 Society include invitations to special events and exclusive exhibition receptions at the KIA.
