Kalamazoo, MI - Friday, November 13, 2009. Get a sneak preview of the Kirk Newman Art School Faculty Review and find your holiday gifts at the 2009 Jewelry Showcase during Art & All That Jazz on Friday, November 20th.

The KIA Gallery Shop is hosting the 2009 Jewelry Showcase II from 12-7 p.m. Featuring the designs of eight local jewelry artisans; shop pieces created from a variety of mediums including sterling silver, enamel, resin and copper with semi-precious stones. A great opportunity to find a unique holiday gift for that special someone!

Then, get a sneak preview of the Kirk Newman Art School Faculty Review (showing November 21 - January 10, 2010). This exhibition highlights more than 80 paintings, drawings, ceramic works, photographs, jewelry, fiber art, sculpture and prints from artists including Denise Lisiecki, Chuck Comer, Maryellen Haines, Michael Kifer and more!

As you enjoy the creations of our talented faculty artisans, get your toes tapping and your hips swaying with the "Argentinian countryside" meets "downtown New York" sound of musical guests, Alberto Rojo Trio! Refreshments and Panera Bread baked goods will be served.

Art & All That Jazz is open 5-7 p.m. Admission is free for those who bring a canned good or non-perishable food item for Art Against Hunger, a food drive in partnership with Panera Bread to benefit Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes.
