• Tours are free for school groups. Occasional exhibitions are ticketed.
• Bus subsidies available for many Kalamazoo County schools.
• Adult groups pay $15 per docent for each group of up to 15.
• Museum tours help teachers meet Michigan Educational Benchmarks.

• ARTworks Interactive Gallery can be included in your visit.

Tuesday through Friday, 10 am to 5 pm. The museum is closed on Monday

Scheduling Your Tour:

• Please schedule at least four weeks in advance.
• Call with date and time, alternate dates, and any special needs the group may have. Please consult your school calendar before booking a tour to minimize conflicts.
• One adult chaperone is required for every 10-15 students in grades 2 - 12, and for every 8-10 students in grades Pre-K – 1.
• Groups must provide their own transportation. Stipends for school busing costs may be available.
• Educators are always welcome to visit the KIA in advance for a pre-visit tour with museum educators! Call for an appointment.
• There are no facilities for eating lunch in the museum.
• The KIA is handicapped accessible. Wheelchairs available upon request.
