Thinking of taking a class at the KIA but not sure what to try? The Hands-On Event is a great time to learn something new, try different art mediums and take your creations home. Full of fun, we will have demonstrations, a variety of projects to make your own artworks and a raffle to win a class in the Kirk Newman Art School, a painting by Don Marek, a glass bowl by Jerry Harty and more!

Admission is free and open to the public, some projects require a nominal fee to cover supplies.

* Screenprinting a Card or Wrapping Paper
* Raku Ceramic Pot
* Watercolor Painting
* Throwing on the Potters Wheel
* Sculpture with Found Objects
* Fusing Glass for an Ornament or Sun-Catcher
* Indigo Dyeing a Scarf
* Drawing
* Making Copper or Silver Bracelets and a Charm
